Isn't technology great? We've tapped into a new way to present our award-winning camping guide online! Now you can view the camping guide just as though you were reading it ... you just click on the corner of a page, or on the "forward" arrow and you'll see the pages turning.

When you find a park listing that piques your interest, just click on the listing and you will be taken directly to that park's individual page on the website; click on an advertiser and go directly to their website.

Most of the events and attractions listed at the top of each page include a web address. If the one you're curious about has a url, then you can click on it and be taken directly to their website.

It's that easy? There's no searching online for the right webpage, or accidentally making an error while typing in a website address ... now getting quality information on RV parks and campgrounds and interesting events and attractions is a breeze using the online version of the Camp-California! Camper's Guide to California.

As you're browsing the guide, you can print out just the pages you'll need for a trip. Of course if you are planning ahead, we recommend that you get a free copy of the camping guide mailed to your home. You never know when you'll wish you had more information with you in your RV. LA Campgrounds Return to "Camping As Usual"

The Station Fire in Los Angeles County has threatened several privately owned campgrounds and RV Parks. In fact, Acton/Los Angeles North KOA and the nearby Thousand Trails park were evacuated as a precaution. The parks did not sustain any damage and evacuees have been able to return. Representatives state that as of Friday, September 11, the smoke has been clear for several days and they are open for "camping as usual."

Many of the evacuees went down the road to the Californiana RV Resort in Acton. This park was not threatened by the fire and was able to stay open continuously.

Further to the southeast, Camp Williams is currently evacuated as a result of the Station Fire. While the fire has moved away, several access roads are still closed preventing the return of their guests and residents. They have not sustained any damage and are awaiting word that roads have been reopened.
