Sports Events - Central Coast

California Rodeo Salinas - The California Rodeo Salinas is one of the top 20 Professional Rodeos in the United States and the largest in California. Known in the rodeo world for our big arena and beautiful buckles, we are most proud of being a not-for-profit organization that gives back over $350,000 each year to local non-profits. Visit our website to learn more about this 103 year old tradition!

AT&T Pro Am - The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am has evolved into one of the most prestigious stops on the PGA Tour since it was started by singer Bing Crosby in 1937. Run almost entirely by volunteers-many of whom work year-round-the tournament is also one of the Peninsula's largest fundraisers, doling out a whopping six million dollars to local non-profits and other youth-oriented charities each year.

Big Sur International Marathon - The Big Sur Marathon is 26.2 miles of the most beautiful coastline in the world - and, for runners, the most challenging. The athletes who participate in the Big Sur International Marathon may draw inspiration from the spectacular views, but it takes major discipline to conquer the hills of Highway One on the way to the finish line.

California International Airshow - The California International Airshow Salinas returns to the Salinas Municipal Airport for its 32nd year. Watch jaw-dropping aeronautical acrobatics from the USAF ThunderBirds, the Patriots, Canadian Forces CF-18, Sean Tucker, Jacquie Warda and more! There will also be military demos, military fly-bys and monster trucks.

Sea Otter Classic - Known as a sprawling and energetic “celebration of cycling”, Sea Otter is cycling’s North American season opener. Professional and amateur athletes alike make the annual pilgrimage to Sea Otter to participate in some of the sport’s most competitive and enduring events. Hundreds of pro cyclists, including national, world, and Olympic champions attend Sea Otter to race and meet with fans. Most of cycling’s racing disciplines are represented including mountain bike cross country, downhill, dual slalom and short track racing. Road cyclists compete in circuit, criterium, and road racing. Also offered are cyclocross and a number of non-competitive recreational events for riders of all ages. The Sea Otter Classic also hosts the largest consumer bike exposition in North America. The Expo holds hundreds of vendors who display new products, distribute free samples, and offer great bargains. The four-day, action-packed festival includes an international food court, entertainment, bike demos, stunt shows, and carnival activities for children.
