The California Poppy Festival kicks off spring in the Antelope Valley with a glorious array of celebrated performers, unrivaled events, and mouth-watering delicacies designed to delight, enchant, and amuse people of all ages. Warm breezes replace the winter chill, jubilant laughter fills the air, and poppies burst into bloom blanketing hillsides in a sea of orange.
Death Valley Wildflower Viewing is best in early spring when the normally stark deserts explode with color. Many varieties including poppies, lupine, cream cups, ocotillo and more combine to create perfect photo opportunities.
Tortoise Days - We are a non-profit organization that puts together an annual festival to better our community. Tortoise Days is always held on the first weekend in May at Central Park. Activities include a parade, vendors, a carnival, food and drink booths and much more fun for young and old alike. (Editor's note: Ok, so it might not be a "true" wildlife event...it still sounds fun!)
