Kinetic Sculpture Race This 3-day race is along California's northern coast from Arcata to Ferndale. Racers compete for glory in all variety of people-powered kinetic contraptions, pedaling along roads, the beach... even through the Humboldt Bay!
Civil War Days The quaint north coast town of Duncans Mills will become the fields of Virginia circa 1863. Civil War Days will once again be on tap as one of the largest re-enactments west of the Mississippi.
Fortuna Rodeo Come enjoy small town Americana. The good old days are still happening every year at the Fortuna Rodeo with a week-long celebration including a citywide chili cook off and CCPRA finals.

Godwit Days- This 3-day spring migration bird gathering toasts the Marbled Godwit along with all of the birds from the marshes, bays coastal redwoods and the mudflats from the Redwood Coast in California. Select from more than 100 lectures, field trips, boat excursions and workshops. Post-festival and pre-trip offers are available for a lengthy stay, giving you the chance to discover all of the birds from the Klamath Region and North Coast.
Annual Heron Festivall- Held each spring at Northern California's Clear Lake, the festival began in 1994. It was created by the local Redbud Audubon Society, as a way to celebrate the nesting season of the plentiful Great Blue Herons in treetops along the meandering waterways at Anderson Marsh. Redbud Audubon offers boat trips into the marsh with expert Audubon bird guides to point out the heron nests and explain heron behaviors. The purpose is to enable the general public to witness first-hand and to learn about the amazing local birds and wildlife. Audubon leaders has the conviction that, through first-hand experience with nature, people come to understand the need to conserve and protect the area's natural resources and habitats.
Summer Concerts at Rodney Strong Vineyards The summer celebration runs from June through September with intimate performances by world-class musicians in a stunning vineyard setting.

Blues by the Bay Held on a beautiful bay-front setting in Old Town Eureka. Featuring some of the finest Blues Musicians close enough to touch.
Oldtime Bluegrass Festival This annual event brings together local and regional musicians for performances on two stages and features demonstrations and vendors selling old-time handmade crafts, Art-in-the-Barn, beer and wine gardens with Lake County wines, food, children's activities, and workshops that make this event fun for the entire family. Attendees are encouraged to bring their instruments for workshops, on such topics as banjo, fiddle, and flat-picking techniques for guitar, and for informal jam sessions behind the ranch house.
Hops in Humboldt This event features over 35 of the best breweries from across the country. For one price you can try unlimited samples of hundreds of different micro-brews, listen to 3 bands as they rock the stage throughout the day, cruise different art and craft vendors selling everything from Humboldt clothes to local hand blown glassware and you get a cool commemorative glass to keep.

Artisan Cheese Festival Learn how to taste, buy, serve and enjoy distinctive artisan cheeses from the experts. The educational seminars and tastings are led by cheese experts, cheesemakers, chefs and fromagiers from across the country, and virtually every session involves tastings and/or pairings of artisan cheeses. The festival features a wide variety of artisan cheeses from California and beyond, together with their artisan bread, food, wine and beer complements.
