Tenting Resources & Cool Stuff
This page is for you if you like to camp with a tent. We'll be adding a variety of resources here to help you make the most of your camping vacation!
- Printable Packing List - This list will give you a start on your packing. If you plan to pack into remote areas additional survival gear may be necessary.
- Finding a campground for tenting - This website has a search feature that allows you to narrow your results to just those who allow tenting. Follow these steps: 1) Click here to start the search, 2) To limit your results geographically you can choose a region in the first selection area, or type a city in the "distance from landmark" area, 3) Now click on the "Add amenities and lifestyle options" link ... select "Tent Sites Available." Check additional selections if you want from this tab or the others. Then click "search." If you don't get any results try your search again with fewer options.
